Σήμερα λέω να γράψω κάτι που δεν συνηθίσατε να βλέπετε συχνά στην σελίδα του ΣούξουΜούξου. Έχω διαθέση να σχολιάσω σήμερα, να ασκήσω λιγάκι κριτική... να μπω λιγάκι στο πέτσι του ρόλου ένος στυλίστα. Επι ευκαιρίας των πολύ φρέσκων-βραβείων EΜΜΥ στο Los Angeles και αφού τα διεθνή media μας έχουν βομβαρδίσει στις ειδησείς περί των τηλεοπτικών αστέρων που πάτησαν το κόκκινο χαλί, τι φόρεσαν, με ποιους πήγαν και μπλα μπλα μπλα... ήταν αδύνατο να μην ασχοληθώ και γω μ΄ αυτά... και φυσικά όχι μόνο ασχολήθηκα αλλά παρασχολήθηκα, όπως συμβαίνει σε κάθε πέριπτωση που έχει να κάνει με ρούχο και μόδα... είμαι δυστυχώς addicted.... θεραπέυεται; .... δεν νομίζω . its too late!!! So, are you with me?...
Ο καιρός στο Λος Άντζελες είναι ακόμη καλός και οι γυναικείες παρουσίες στα βραβεία Emmy διάλεξαν να φορέσουν ανοιξιάτικες δημιουργίες, δείχνοντας προτίμηση στα έντονα χρώματα (το κίτρινο εξακολούθει να έχει κυριάρχο ρόλο στις χρωματικές επιλογές των τηλεοπτικών περσόνων).
Το Mad Men είναι η επιτομή του στυλ σε τηλεοπτική σειρά... Οι πρωταγωνίστριες της, January Jones και Jessica Paré ήταν από τις πιο ωραίες παρουσίες της βραδιάς.
January Jones
Το φόρεμα της January Jones, από μόνο του (Zac Posen), αλλά και όπως το φοράει.. είναι stunning! Συγκλονιστική παρουσία, φόρεμα που δεν αφήνει κάνενα ασυγκίνητο στο κοίταγμα του, περιέργο,παράξενο... τα συγχαρητήρια μας δεσποινίς τόσο για την επιλογή του συγκεκριμένου φορέματος-έργου τέχνης όσο και για την όλη σου εμφάνιση!!
Jessica Paré
Για να μαι ειλικρινής, δεν είναι ότι βρίσκω συγκλονιστικό το συγκεκριμένο φόρεμα...η ωραία όμως εμφάνιση της ηθοποιού σε συνδυασμό με το σωστό styling, τον πετυχημένο αλλά και πολύ προσεγμένο και ποσοτικά μετρημένο συνδυασμό άσπρου μάυρου, το πολύ κομψά και σικάτα κοσμήματα που επέλεξε να βάλει και φυσικά το κόκκινο κραγιόν το αναδεικνύουν πιο πολύ. Έμοιαζε με star του Hollywood από το παρελθόν.
Tom Hanks
Κάτι λέγαμε για Hollywood stars;..Ο Tom Hanks είναι ένας καταξιωμένος ηθοποιός που προσδίδει αίγλη και αξία σε όποια εκδήλωση παρευρίσκεται. Τον βλέπουμε στη φωτογραφία να κρατάει το βραβείο ως executive producer της τηλεταινίας Game Change.
Η εμφάνιση του θυμίζει παλιό Ηollywood... Άσπρο κολάρο- μαύρο κοστούμι- μαύρη γραβάτα...αψεγάδιαστος! Μουστάκι, μαλλί και το διατηρημένο από το καλοκαίρι μαύρισμα, συμπληρώνουν την εικόνα...an all-time classic!

Claire Danes
Η..."εναλλακτική" ηθοποιός Claire Danes βραβεύτηκε για την ερμηνεία της στη σειρά Homeland και το soumou χάρηκε γι'αυτην... για την επιτυχία της, για το ότι την είδε μετά από καιρό, για το ότι παραμένει φρέσκια και γλυκιά, και για το ότι κατέκλεισαν το μυαλό του εφηβικές μνήμες!
Φορεμα απλό και κομψό και μαλιά αφημένα κάτω, χωρίς κάποιο ιδιαίτερο στυλιζάρισμα. Το γεγονός ότι βρίσκεται σε ενδοιαφέρουσα ίσως να έπαιξε ρόλο και για' αυτό, η ηθοποιός, να μην επέλεξε μια εντυπωσιακή τουαλέτα. Αυτό το ντύσιμο δεν το επιλέγει μια γυναίκα για να προκαλέσει εντυπώσεις. Αυτό είναι ντύσιμο που το βάζει μια γυναίκα για να αρέσει στον εαυτό της και για να περάσει καλά εκεί που βρίσκεται...ακόμη και σε τελετές βραβείων (τηλεοπτικών, μην ξεχνάμε). Το μαλλί της, ίσως με ένα άλλο κτένισμα πιο προσεγμένο, και όχι τόσο απλό και αφημένο κάτω, πιστεύω θα της έδινε περισσότερη λάμψη και και θα αναδείκνυε καλύτερα το φουστάνι της.
Τέτοιες εμφανίσεις και μια τέτοια διάθεση-αντιμετώπιση πάντως, αποτελούν ευχάριστες εκπλήξεις και μακάρι να γίνονται όλο και πιο συχνές.
Ricky Gervais
Σ' αυτό το mood, και ο πολυτάλαντος Ricky Gervais. Εμφανίστηκε στο κόκκινο χαλί με το look -3 ημερών αξύριστος, τζελ στο μαλί, μαύρο κοστούμι και πουκάμισο- χωρίς γραβάτα- και μαύρα γιαλιά ηλίου. Πόζαρε στους φωτογράφους με πλατύ χαμόγελο και όχι με το γνωστό είμαι γοητευτικός-σοβαρό-ύφος άλλων διασημοτήτων.

EMMY Awards 2012
Today’s topic is not something you have used on seeing in this blog.. I’m in a mood of commenting, in a mood for some critique, as if I were a stylist.. And what a greater opportunity to do so, than the EMMY AWARDS that took place just a few days ago, on Sunday the 23rd!
As the media have bombarded
us with images and news of the tv stars on the red carpet, of what they wore,
who they were with…etc… I had not choice but to take a closer look at the
subject… And as it -usually- turns out (on situations where fashion and clothes
are involved), I got so absorbed from it to the point where my eyes started
bothering me and I had to get away from my computer screen… I admit it… I’m addicted
and there’s no turning back! So,are you with me on this?..
Los Angeles’s weather is still very good and the
female presences picked out gowns from the spring collection of designers,
showing special preference on bold colours ( yellow was the most picked up
colour).
Let’s go ahead now, and look at some of the presences that stood out or they just got my attention…
Mad Men is the epitome of style in a tv show…It’s leading ladies, January Jones and Jessica Paré were true visions of beauty...

Jones was wearing a Zac Posen’s creation and she looked sensational! The gown alone
is eye catching, original… simply stunning… Kudos for you girl, for the
selection of a work-of-art gown and for the way you presented yourself in it!

As for the appearance of Jessica Paré, I
got to admit I didn’t find her dress that impressive…
but her overall look really was… With the right styling, the right and
carefully measured proportions of black & white, the chic and elegant jewelry,
the hairdo and make-up (those red lips!) the beautiful actress managed to bring
the most out of this dress. She looked like a Hollywood
star from past.
Tom Hanks
We were saying something about Hollywood stars?... Tom Hanks is an acclaimed actor of great caliber and he brings value and prestige to the events he’s invited to. In the photo above, we see him with an Emmy Award in hands as he was one of the executive producers of Game Change.
His style also brings out memories
of old Hollywood…White
collar – black tux – black tie…he was impeccable! Even his mustache, his hairstyle
and his summer tan complimented that all-time classic look!
Aaron Paul
I like it when men make choices and distinguish themselves and their dressing from the rest. A different choice, for a guy, won’t necessarily make him look odd or ridiculous ( ok, sometimes we fall on that trap, men and women). Take Aaron Paul for example. He chose to wear a brown taxedo ( with a distinctive collar of a lighter shade of brown) and he complimented it with a fine bow-tie and a handkerchief, both in the colour of bronze. Not only the clothes looked good on him, but they also showed character… Very nice, Aaron!
Claire Danes
The “alternative” Claire Danes won the award of
her role in Homeland and Soumou felt happy for her… for her success, for the fact that it saw her after a long time,
for the fact that it found her still looking fresh and sweet, for its mind was filled
with teenage memories…
Danes is pregnant and maybe that was a factor
for not selecting some spectacular gown. Her dress was simple yet elegant and
she wore her hair down. That kind of outfit wouldn’t be the choice of a woman who
her main aim would be to impress others. This is the
kind of outfit that would be chosen by a woman who knows what she likes and she
wants to have a nice time at the place she is going to… even to an award ceremony
( tv awards…don’t forget)!
Perhaps her hairdo is too plain and a
different one would have complimented her and the dress more.
But these outfits,
this spirit-attitude of an event attendance, remain pleasant surprises and soumou
hopes to see them more often.
Ricky Gervais
In this
mood was also Ricky Gervais’s style. He showed up on the red carpet with that
3-day-unshaved- look, gelled hair, in a
black suit and a black shirt, no tie, and black sunglasses. He posed for the
media with a big smile and not with that –I’m-so- attractive-frown that celebrities make.
Afterall, it was a bright Sunday afternoon!..
